What if I’m a writer?

A friend once told me, “An English Major can do anything!” I’m still trying to define what that “anything” is, but I think this site is a good place to start. I hope you enjoy my journey examining the all the beautiful broken things that are a part of me, and surround me.
But who am I?
I’m a nonprofit professional, a grant writer, an aspiring poet, and now an amateur blogger. I have a Bachelors of Arts in English: Creative Writing, and one day hope to earn a few Masters degrees. I bought my first home during the pandemic. I used to live in a three generation household with my dad and 82 year-old grandma. I’m a child of divorce, a child of a teacher; I was the child of an alcoholic, and today I am the daughter of the most loving father in the world. I’m a book nerd who loves to craft, and a wishy-washy gamer. I’m a short girl who has to use a stool to put certain dishes away. I’m a Sagittarius who enjoys long walks through nature even though I’m allergic to most of it. Some of my favorite college memories are playing board games. I’m always up for a coffee date, but I might end up ordering iced tea.
I’d love to get to know you.
